Hey Gary,

Thought I'd send along some of our vacation pictures before things got too busy. You know how it is. Being away is wonderful, but the work really piles up in your absence and you start playing catch-up as soon as you get back. Oh well. It was definitely worth it! Anyway, here are a few of my favorite shots.

Jennifer and her dad Craig, they were in Hawaii in March 2008.

Jen and Craig received a warm welcome upon their arrival in Hawaii. The people are so kind and friendly there.

Touring Pearl Harbor should be a "must-see" on everyone's itinerary. Both Jen and Craig said that going to the USS Arizona and Missouri memorials was educational -- and moving.

There's nothing like watching a Hawaiian sunset. It's like watching a fire burn.

Mark Twain named Waimea Canyon "the Grand Canyon of the Pacific" -- and it certainly is grand. Jen posed by one of the canyon's numerous lookout points. Although they didn't go in the peak waterfall season, they still saw many gorgeous ones.

Jen and Craig highly recommend taking a whale watching tour. They took a two-hour tour in Maui and saw more than 50 whales. At times, the whales were so close to our boat that you could actually hear them. Jen and Craig rewarded themselves with a meal at the Hotel Hana - Maui's outdoor bar/grill after driving the infamous "Road to Hana" in Maui.
